To promote and stabilize positive human growth through respect, responsibility, trust, caring, and community. Collaborative partnerships are pursued to provide education and promote self-suffciency.
We serve as a “hub” for services and resources that sustain a strong, vibrant, healthy community on the rural plains. We serve the residents of: Calhan, Peyton, Ramah, Simla, Falcon, Matheson, Ellicott, Rush, Yoder, Edison, Hanover, Elbert, Elizabeth, and Kiowa.
The Community Outreach Center (COC) has a modular office building just inside the entrance to the El Paso County Fairgrounds in Calhan so that Coalition members can have office space to meet with residents and provide education and assistance as they offer services.
The following agencies currently have office hours at the COC:
Additionally, there are several agencies that are part of our Support Coalition, that hold meetings, outreach events, and services outside of our normal COC rotation including; Pikes Peak Area Agency on Aging, Calhan Community Pantry, Free Tax Preparation, Health Screenings, and more.
