Celebrate El Paso County Day with FREE admission for all visitors!

As we embrace the 1930s and 1940s, enjoy a full day of activities highlighting the resilience, culture, and entertainment of the era. From musical bingo to historical demonstrations, there’s something for everyone.

Musical Bingo

Test your knowledge of classic tunes with Musical Bingo in Swink Hall throughout the day. Match songs to your bingo card and compete for prizes in this fun, interactive game.

Homesteading Classes & Demonstrations

The evening will feature a special homesteading class covering Depression-era cooking, canning, and food preservation—essential skills that helped families get through tough times. Learn how people adapted and thrived in the 1930s and 1940s.

Era Celebration

Step into the 1940s with a day-long celebration in Whittemore. This event will bring the spirit of the era to life with themed décor, music, and activities reminiscent of the time.

Bands at the Fair

The Farmers State Bank Pavilion will have a lineup of live music throughout the day.

The afternoon band is still to be confirmed. We will have Brad Lee Schroeder join us Monday evening at 6pm.
