Sunday – Western Heritage Day


Step back into the 1920s as we celebrate Western Heritage Day at the El Paso County Fair. The day is filled with rodeo action, homesteading traditions, classic cars, and even a silent movie featuring bunnies. From the Queen’s Horsemanship Contest to live music at the Farmers State Bank Pavilion, Sunday is packed with activities that honor the past while bringing plenty of excitement to the present.

Car Show



Explore a stunning collection of classic and modern vehicles at the Car Show, running from open until 2 PM. This is a must-see for automobile enthusiasts and anyone who appreciates the craftsmanship of vintage and modern rides.

Church Service


Start your morning with a 10 AM church service, provided by Living Word Church in the Farmers State Pavilion.

Queen Contest

The journey to crown the 2026 El Paso County Fair Queen begins today!

Sunday is a big day for the El Paso County Fair Queen contestants. The morning begins with the Queen’s Brunch, followed by Queen Speeches at 12 PM. Then, the Queen Horsemanship Contest at 1 PM will be the final event to determine who will wear the crown in 2026.

  • Queen’s Brunch Morning event in Swink Hall (by Invitation only)
  • Queen’s Speeches – 12 PM in the Farmers State Pavilion
  • Queen’s Horsemanship Contest – 1 PM in the Grandstands Arena

Homesteading Classes/Demonstrations



Experience life from the 1920s with homesteading classes in the morning and afternoon. Learn essential skills that shaped rural communities a century ago.

Silent Movie with Bunnies



Step into an old-fashioned movie experience! Enjoy a silent film in true 1920s style—featuring bunnies as the stars. Join us in the Whittemore building throughout the day.

Bands at the Fair



The Farmers State Bank Pavilion will have a lineup of live music throughout the day. The afternoon band is TBD, while Winchester Road will take the stage from 6:30 PM to 9 PM, delivering an evening of great country music to wrap up the day.

Poker Tournament - Speakeasy Style



Step into a 1920s speakeasy and try your luck at our Poker Tournament. With a vintage-inspired setting, players can enjoy a classic card game experience while soaking in the charm of the Roaring Twenties.

Starting at 6pm in Whittemore. Get there early to secure your space!

Roaring 20's Speakeasy


Step back in time for a Roaring '20s Speakeasy Party in Swink Hall starting at 6 PM! Enjoy live music, swing dancing lessons, and a night of vintage fun. Dress in your best 1920s attire and get ready to dance the night away!

Grandstand Events

The Grandstands will be full of excitement throughout the day. Slack roping and rodeo events kick off the morning, setting the stage for an action-packed afternoon. At 1 PM, the Queen Horsemanship Contest takes place, where contestants demonstrate their riding skills as they compete to become the 2026 El Paso County Fair Queen. Mutton Bustin’ starts at 3 PM, giving young riders the chance to show off their bravery. The day rounds out with the CPRA Rodeo at 4 PM, where professional cowboys and cowgirls compete in thrilling rodeo events.
